‘The Art of Connection’ Competition Terms and Conditions

By entering Orange Sky Australia’s art competition, the entrant is agreeing to abide by the guidelines as detailed in the following Terms and Conditions. Terms and Conditions are subject to change.

  1. By participating in the competition, the entrant accepts that all decisions made by Orange Sky are final and binding in all matters relating to the Competition.
  2. The competition closes January 31, 2022
  3. Competition entry is open to South Australian residents only.
  4. Once an entry has been submitted, the entrant agrees to the details of the submission to be shared across Orange Sky Australia owned assets, including the website, all social media channels, corporate and promotional assets and media outlets, if they are chosen as the winner.
  5. More than one entry is allowed per person.
  6. Submissions featuring inappropriate language, meaning/s, images or connotations will not be taken into considerations.
  7. The winning entrant will be selected by a pre-arranged judging panel, inclusive of Orange Sky Australia staff and volunteers, as well as possible locals external from Orange Sky organisation.
  8. The winning entrant will be contacted via email and/or phone by an Orange Sky representative after January 31, 2022.
  9. The entrant agrees to enter the competition with their own unique creation / piece of art. The entrant agrees to not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If an entrants submission infringes upon the intellectual property rights of another, the entrant will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Orange Sky. If an entrant submits a piece that is claimed to constitute an infringement to any proprietary or intellectual rights of a third party, the entrant responsible will incur all legal ramifications as a result.
  10. If the winner cannot be reached within one week of the winning piece being selected, Orange Sky may select another winner without liability to any person.
  11. By submitting an art concept into the competition, the entrant agrees to participate in images and video content of the artwork being created and once the artwork has been completed. The entrant is agreeing to this content being shared across Orange Sky Australia owned assets owned assets, including the website, all social media channels, corporate and promotional assets and media outlets.
  12. There are no monetary winnings to be awarded as part of this competition. The “prize” of winning the competition is that the entrant will paint, draw or have their artwork piece displayed or printed on the 9m x 3.4m wall within the Adelaide Social Impact Laundromat, by Orange Sky located on 80 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide. The winner will also receive free publicity across Orange Sky Australia owned assets, including the website, all social media channels, corporate and promotional assets. The winner may also receive free publicity via local media outlets as per the competition winning announcement public relations activity.
  13. If required, Orange Sky agrees to provide up to $250 worth of utensils and product (including paints, brushes or other artwork utensils) for the winning entrant to construct their artwork on the 9m x 3.4m wall within the Adelaide Social Impact Laundromat, by Orange Sky located on 80 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide.
  14. At any time Orange Sky has the right to withdraw an entrants art submission.
  15. Orange Sky may collect the entrants personal information (name and contact details) for the purpose of administering the competition and for marketing purposes. To opt out, please email hello@orangesky.org.au
