We’re developing a new suite of curriculum-aligned resources for high school students. These lessons will challenge common stereotypes about homelessness, deepen understanding of its causes, and explore the power of action and innovation through Orange Sky’s story. Students will be encouraged to think critically, build empathy, and consider how they can contribute to positive change in their communities.

Yes. The resources are aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9. You will find curriculum links in the Unit Overview included with each download.

What topics do the lessons cover?

The lessons explore themes like homelessness, hardship, empathy, stereotypes and stigma, social connection, and community impact through the lens of Orange Sky’s work.

What do I receive when I download a resource?

Each module includes a Unit Overview and Pre-reading Guide to support safe and inclusive discussions. The module contains multiple curriculum-aligned lessons, each with a Lesson Plan and a selection of supporting resources such as slides, activity templates, and optional extension tasks depending on the lesson.
