Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has left many in our community facing uncertainty, and for our friends who were already doing it tough – the impact is even greater.

Evacuation centres have become a temporary home, with many arriving with bags of wet clothes and bedding – and nowhere to get them clean and dry.

Our team is on the ground, rolling up their sleeves to help – but we need your support too. In times of disaster, we need to keep showing up, wherever we’re needed most.

Where can people go if they need shelter?

If you are in need of shelter or evacuation, please visit your local Government Dashboard or Council website – or social media – to see where their evacuation centres may be.

Can I make a direct deposit?

You are very welcome to make a donation to Orange Sky by direct deposit to our bank account. Please call us on (07) 3067 5800 or email hello@orangesky.org to obtain our BSB and account number. We will generate a one-time individual reference number for you to use with your deposit so that we can easily identify your donation and forward a receipt.
