Orange Sky Australia is committed to providing access to clean clothes, warm showers and genuine, non-judgemental conversation for all Australians. In remote communities, access to laundry services can be limited and cost prohibitive. Broome is coastal town located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. It is situated on a peninsula where the Indian Ocean meets the wilderness. Orange Sky’s Broome service works alongside the community to build impact through free laundry facilities, local employment and local partnerships.
Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky’s Broome service is made possible by our community partner Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS). We are grateful to the Traditional Custodians – the Yawuru people – our community partner, BRAMS, and Broome residents for allowing Orange Sky to provide the community with a safe and respectful place for laundry and connection.
Our Remote Vehicle 3.0 (RV3.0) brings essential laundry services to remote Australian communities. Designed for rugged conditions, it features three washers and Waru Dryers, and uses advanced solar technology to enhance service reach effectively.
