Orange Sky Australia is committed to providing access to clean clothes, warm showers and genuine, non-judgemental conversation for all Australians. In remote communities, access to laundry services can be limited and cost prohibitive.
Halls Creek is a town situated in the east Kimberley region of Western Australia. It is located between the towns of Fitzroy Crossing and Turkey Creek on the Great Northern Highway. Orange Sky’s Halls Creek service works alongside the community to build impact through free laundry facilities, local employment and local partnerships.
Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky’s Halls Creek service is made possible by our community partner Job Pathways. We are grateful to the Traditional Custodians – the Jaru (or Djaru) and Kija (or Gija) people – our community partner, Halls Creek residents for allowing Orange Sky to provide the community with a safe and respectful place for laundry and connection.
Our Remote Vehicle 3.0 (RV3.2) brings essential laundry services to remote Australian communities. Designed for rugged conditions, it features three washers and Waru Dryers, and uses advanced solar technology to enhance service reach effectively.
