Orange Sky Australia is committed to providing access to clean clothes, warm showers and genuine, non-judgemental conversation for all Australians. In remote communities, access to laundry services can be limited and cost prohibitive.
Kalgoorlie, Kalgoorlie-Boulder, is Australia’s largest outback city, located 595 km northeast of Perth, Western Australia. Orange Sky’s Kalgoorlie service works alongside the community to build impact through free laundry, local employment and local partnerships.
Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky’s Kalgoorlie service is made possible by our community partner Bega Garnbirringu Health Service. We are grateful to the Traditional Custodians – Wongatha and Wangkatja people – our community partner, and Kalgoorlie residents for allowing Orange Sky to provide the community with a safe and respectful place for laundry and connection.
Our Remote Vehicle 3.0 (RV3.0) brings essential laundry services to remote Australian communities. Designed for rugged conditions, it features three washers and Waru Dryers, and uses advanced solar technology to enhance service reach effectively.
