Orange Sky Australia is committed to providing access to clean clothes and genuine, non-judgemental conversation for all Australians. In remote communities, access to laundry services can be limited and cost prohibitive.
Woorabinda is located in Central Queensland, located 170km west of Rockhampton. Orange Sky’s Woorabinda service works alongside the community to build impact through free laundry, local employment and local partnerships.
Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky’s Woorabinda service is made possible by our community partner Murrup. Woorabinda is our second service in partnership with Murrup after one year of operation in Wurrumiyanga, and we are incredibly proud to expand this connection to the Central Queensland region.

Our laundry pods are static, standalone structures that remain at a location for an extended period. Each pod is equipped with two washing machines, two dryers and six chairs. The Laundry Pod is operated by the Murrup team from Monday-Friday each week.
