What we do
Free laundry, showers and conversation for people experiencing homelessness or hardship.
We aim to provide a simple service that makes a huge difference for those doing it tough.
Orange Sky supports people experiencing homelessness or hardship through access to free laundry and shower services, as well the opportunity for regular connection.
We provide a supportive, welcoming and inclusive space for anyone experiencing loneliness or disconnection from the community, with a focus on improving hygiene, health and quality of life.

Who we help
Orange Sky provides free laundry and shower services to anyone in need. We also offer a welcoming community space for those experiencing loneliness or isolation.
Metro & regional communities
We support everyday Australians doing it tough by providing access to free laundry, showers and connection.
Remote communities
We offer free laundry facilities to residents in remote communities - where access can be limited, expensive and unreliable.
Communities affected by natural disasters
When disasters strike, we are committed to providing relief for people impacted through clean laundry, warm showers and a safe space for connection.

Our services
We deliver our service to everyday Australians in a number of different ways!
Mobile vans
We are best known for our laundry and shower vans, operating in parks and alongside partner organisations all across the country. Our vans are solar powered and have our innovative Waru Dryers onboard to reduce our environmental impact.
Laundry pods
Our laundry pods are static, standalone structures that operate from the one location. They are equipped with two washing machines, two dryers and of course - six orange chairs.
Laundromats
Whether Orange Sky owned or partnered, we offer free laundry and connection to people doing it tough in laundromats in regional towns.
Indoor laundries
By placing washing machines and dryers within our partner organisations, we create a space for people in need to be able to access laundry facilities and genuine conversations.
Remote vehicles
Containing three washing machines and three dryers, our remote vehicles are designed to deliver our service in remote communities in Australia. These vehicles are solar powered and deliver hot washing to improve hygiene.
