Wadeye, located in the Northern Territory’s Western top end, 400 kilometres southeast of Darwin. Orange Sky’s Wadeye services work alongside the community to build impact through free laundry, local employment and local partnerships.
Under our collaborative partnership model, Orange Sky’s Wadeye service is made possible by our community partner Thamarrurr Development Corporation (TDC). We are grateful to the Traditional Custodians – Kardu Yek Diminin people – our community partner, and Wadeye residents from all 20 local clan groups for allowing Orange Sky to provide the community with a safe and respectful place for laundry and connection.
Wadeye has two Remote Vehicle 3.0 (RV3.0). Our RV3.0 brings essential laundry services to remote Australian communities. Designed for rugged conditions, it features three washers and Waru Dryers, and uses advanced solar technology to enhance service reach effectively.
